The goggles half way

Here's the goggles I'm working on. I bought some silly round "John Lennon" style glasses from a costume shoppe, ground the center and most of the sides off and then soldered them to a set of WW1 flight goggles I found at my local Army Surplus Store. Then I rimmed the goggles with electrical tape. The next step is to inject epoxy into the soldered joint in order to make them more sturdy and cut leather to fix to the rims. I may replace the strap on the goggles, the current one is very old and weak.
